my first image on my new Peecee. That apple campaign really pushed me over the edge, so I took their advice and switched. This machine is SO nice. I can now run painter at reasonable rez. So here is a painter scribble, getting used to the completely differnt environment will take some time, as you can clearly see. I will post more about it over in the discussion thread.

This thread's been blooming lately.
Empty head -> scribbling -> your regular caveman in a dull pose

Spooge - that's cool - it looks as if you're moving away from that obvious "Painter" look that Lunatique has mentioned before. I am curious; are you using loaded oily brushes with 100% opacity, or are trying to work more with reduced opacities (like you seem to in Photoshop)? _________________ - Tom Carter

A "samurai wimp"?
There is no such thing, for a samurai is not a wimp.

cool stuff all of you!
edit: you know drunken, that could be a great painting.
I guess a "samurai wimp" is paradox then =)
neff, thats just such a basic design and lighting you really don't need a ref. If you get the construction right, you are about 80 % done, at least for me it is so.
