Nice, I really like the first one, nice colours, but I think there is somthing wrong with the composition, add more space to the left of the character, so that the character will occupy the right side of the canvas.

yup!!! very good use of ligh on the fist one i love it  i agree qith Deckard the left arm of the ogree seems like it would look beter if were completed and not cuted by the canvas.
critic:
the left hand of the ogre the one that is hoding the tree branch seems weird i think that the thumb of the hand should be visible.

two hand studies maybe the ogree does not have thumbs but still the fingers seem like they could use more definition so that they look real.

wow thanks I really mean that to, was having some serous doubts as to wither I was improving at all (one of periods of depression where you are asking yourself �why do I even try�)
