Hello all, it's been a while but it's good to see this forum is still active. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone could clear something up for me about Drew Struzan. Now I'm almost sure I heard this right, but my memory is awfully fuzzy, and a search on google and this forum brought up no cases so perhaps I am wrong.

I've heard that back in the days when Struzan was very popular, there were a lot of immitators of his style, both amatuer and professional. In the amatuer field it got to the point where employers wouldn't even consider a portfolio if it had a Struzan immitation, and in the professional world it ended up devaluing his work in the marketplace.

I would really appreciate it if anyone could confirm or debunk this story, and if there happen to be any replies, then thank you in advance!
