hi everyone. I'm sorta new to this forum, and I am looking for a good free place to host my artwork so that I could share them here. All the hosts I currently use will only let me link to an html page, but direct links to jpegs dont work. Any suggestions?

(*) To display images from these sites you need to do a little trick. Change the file extension of your image to .txt (eg. image.jpg -> image.txt) before you upload, and link it like this:

or for geocities:

[img]http://www.yoursite.com/image.txt?[/img]

biz: what do you mean? You rename the file so it's blah.txt rather than blah.jpg ?

Yeah, looks like I can't change that extension from .JPG into .TXT(me lamme).
Where from should I do that? Rolling Eyes

Access any drive on your computer, look up the file menu and choose TOOLS ---> Folder Options ------> View -----> Uncheck Hide Extensions for known file types

the only thing about changing extensions so you can hotlink is one's host can stop all hotlinking text or image so you would need a html to show the picture or whatever
