Anyway, I'm actually referencing off of something now. Just because the guy never had a reference, it was all out of my head.
I'm using the pose from Claire Redfield from Resident Evil 2, and that's about all I'm using. The boots will most likely go, along with the shape of the hair, that's why I haven't really worked on her head.
Then for the guy, I'm not sure if I should leave him bald, give him a little stubble, or go for long hair blowing in the wind. I haven't decided yet. Also, I'm not sure what to do for the background either. Any suggestions, critiques, comments are welcome.
I've just slightely shaded the girl, just so you know what's what. That's why it looks crappy.

It all looks great! I would definately add some more "testosterone" to the guy. Stubble, hair, the works! THe girls is much darker, and makes him look too feminine even with the big chest, and sword.... mess around with it to see what comes out best!! _________________ It takes a big man to cry. The composition of the piece is good but the characters lack any emotion in there faces and they look at little flat, also the man's nipple is way too high up, Overall it needs a lot more shading to give it some life..
Keep on working at it.. |
