Well, this is my first drawing uploaded on these forums. As you can see, I'm not too good at drawing, and I'm not too fond of my shading or my linework, but I'm only 18. :\
Any advice you can give me? o.o Maybe I need a model. >.< Hehe.

Umm, no. She's wearing a coat, I just didn't bother to draw the fingers. >.< I always mess up the hands, so... :\
Hehe, you know it's not a good sign when people start asking questions about your art. o.o

I guess I'll have to. But it is as stated, a sketch. :\ I guess my sketches don't look as good as everyone elses though.
I can't do any digital art to show anyone right now because I don't have the equipment that I need. I did, just not anymore.
Ah well. I'll keep at it. <.< |

How is this turning out? :\
I don't want to make a new topic for it so I'll just put it in this one. ^.^

Hey
I think it looks good so far.
I will give you a link to some free books and I will be burned by Spooge for giving the tip about Loomis, anyway here are the link.
http://www.fineart.sk
just go to human anatomy - andrew loomis books and you will find some stuff about shadin and stuff.
about the hands, I have found it very good to use my own hands when drawing or painting in the computer, so I twist and bend my left hand when painting ..hehe kind of crazy but its a good reference source.
see you and keep it up

Thanks Matthew. ^^ I already know about Loomis' art books. I haven't read any of them all the way through though because I'd rather own them...although I doubt that's possible now. :\ Hehe.
I'll try to finish that picture when I get the chance, but I'm still not happy with even that drawing. I was trying as hard as I could also. Hmmm...oh well. *Shrug* ^_^ |
