Hi all,
I'm from Headfirst Productions, a UK based game developer. I've been a lurker on the forums for a while and am always impressed with what I see.
I have now emerged from the gloom because we're looking to recruit a number of Background / Level artists to work on our game Call of Cthulhu (voted as one of the top 3 PC games at E3 this year by Gamespot.com), and a number of other exciting projects.
Our recruitment policy has always been to prefer talent over experience, so if you have masses of artistic ability, and have a passion for gaming, then we want to hear from you. It doesn't matter if you've never used a 3D package before - but some experience with Photoshop or something similar is useful. We can train people to use a computer, but we can't train them to have talent.
If you're interested or want more information, then please mail me some examples of your work to [email protected] - or reply to this post.
Thanks very much,
Andrew
ps. The positions we are offering are full time, paid positions, based in our office near Birmingham, England. |

Could you please, in the next two years, move your company to America? I'll be in school until then. Thanks, see you soon. ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

uhm, isnt headfirst productions the developer who did the simon the sorcerer-series and "the feeble files"? these were some of the best adventures i've ever played . only simon3d was a bit disappointing, the jump to the third dimension wasnt that good...
i hope you will release another cool adventure game somewhere in the near future... |

Yes that was us, and yes Simon 3D wasn't that good. It was a good learning process though, and we learned that point 'n' click adventures don't work in realtime 3D.
