hey!,

I was sitting the other day trying to make something unique, and i thought that to make something unique you must use a unique technique ( or atleast that is one way ), thats how i came up with this idea about colors and layers, so i started working on it, and this is how it turned out. comments are appriciated, even though I see it as done, feel free to post criticism, its always good for future drawings..

anyway:



i feel that i must note that, since almost 99% of all in here seem to have tablets, i use a mouse. and only that =D...

im very low tonight, been thinking of the last resort already, altough not about this,,, damn i hate the way the world works, iam drunk,,,, damn... i hate them all. from bush to gore...

gotta get ahold of some good pills that will make me sleep for a very long time.. mayby 100000000 years will be enuff..

Ouch, some really hard crits here. and no-one really gave you any tips neither, but the wacom tips was very good.
I also used a mouse with all my coloring for a very long time but when I bought myself a wacom I found out what a free feeling that was and how faster you can work with a wacom (painting table).
I think you have blended the colors nice together and the mood is nice and cool as what I think thou you have some problems in the perspective, the perspective is something you will understand better once read some books about it. I will give you a link to fineart.sk where you can find Andrew Loomis books which is a good source for perpective learning, check out Succesful Drawing which contains many different perspectives.
Also, stay off those pills you talked about and start to draw and paint more, that way you can show everybody how good you can get with your painting and drawing skills.

yes i know this image is not correct perspective-wise, and that was never a goal. but thank you for pointing that out anyway. (redirect work in progress - > exploration robot )

It seems like there is a very strict set of guidelines here about what you are allowed to post here as an artist... don't get me wrong, its just a niche, but are you for example allowed to post pixel art? or is that completely off?

i understand that this is a place for learning, and mayby showing off aswell, so forthmore, i shall keep it at that. Learning the ways of the artist and mastering the techiques of the painter. Those will be my newly set goals, and hopefully, one day, i will manage to post something that instead of tickling your flame-activating whiskers, it will make you wonder how I managed to cook up such a fabules bouquet of lines and colors without letting any spot of the paper getting overly cramped. neither will it make you wonder if i used a mouse or a pen or a brush, because at the bottom of the picture it will clearly say, this was made with a wacom tablet!

and then that day, i will lean backwards and say to myself, now, and only now, can i begin with my crazy ventures and go forth as the long lost son of picasso himself, and mayby even start that day, to make crazy looking drawings as he did.

but when that happends i will no longer post here, cause my lesson of learning would long since have expired, withered, and stiffened into the center of my spine making who i am in my pictures, and pulling the strings that attached to my hands make up my talent as an artist.
