First of all, play with levels (conttrast) a bit. Now it looks kinda washed out. Second - loose this red thing Other than that, i like it. _________________ a.k.a. azazel or eltazar |

and in my opinion:
keep the red, but do make it a little higher contrast, not much but a litte. Either that or make the darkest value a colour instead of grey like this image , krap though it is, the daarkest value is a dark blue. Or actually I was fiddling and high contrast would work I thin. That way it becomes clearer and easier to see how awesome the paiting is. It's really nice I must say |

I do have to agree that it looks very washed out. It's like looking through a watered-down layer of milk.. (This happens to be be something that usually annoys me quite much.) The way it is right now, it's difficult for me to try to figure out if that red is too bright or not..
Ignoring this, I like the guy. The picture's got a personality of its own. I like his eyes and the whiskers or hairs he's got here and there... _________________ More art |
