Hi everybody!
Finally I've got myself a website of my own! All the cool php stuff was written by Klas Gunnarsson - you're the best!!
My Online Porfolio:
www.mattiassnygg.com
I've had indications that some people are not able to click on any links at the page. If this happens to you please please reply here, PM or email me about it! I need to know what browsers can handle it in order to fix whatever problem there might be.
Cheers!

Great to see you've finally got a site up, Mon.
But I don't like the navigation - the javascript links mean you can't "open in new window" and that sort of thing. You have to view each link one at a time (=slooow).
And the reason some people might not be able to open the links is because they probably have popup blockers installed which thinks your links are adverts. _________________ Art Links Archive -- Artists and Tutorials |

Hey Mattias
I like the page however I think it would be much more nice with a bright or neutral grey background.
One more thing at the bottom of the general information, the A href code is visible and I think that is because you have forgot to space after the mailto: after the colon there is a space.
Anyway very cool site, especially with the teddy looking monster in the left corner. :)

ceenda - Thanks dude!
Sumaleth - yes that might be it. I'll have Klas look into it I'm sorry you don't like the navigation, but I feel that's one of the things that will stay. I'm not sure what you mean by viewing each link one at the time though =)
Matthew - Yepp, I agree. I'll change the background color. I spotted the href tag but no matter what I did it wouldn't work! and it's been working for weeks!!! (before today that is...) Strange stuff, the machines don't like me
Capt. Fred - Thanks! yeah, and a domain name! I feel totally elevated! (not kidding, this whole internet thing is very cool, a bit like immortalizing youself )
Cheers!

Mon:
Most people these days I think would use a browser which lets you middle-mouse-button-click or shift-click a link and open it in another window/tab. So when you come to a gallery site like that you shift-click all the images and they all open at the same time.
The type of javascript link you've used effecitvely kills any possibility of doing this. You are forced to visit one link at a time, then go "back", and then view the next one. Very slow and frustrating. _________________ Art Links Archive -- Artists and Tutorials |

Germ01: Thank you! I will!
viag:
Sumaleth: Wow, despite the amount of time I spend at the computer I never saw this possibility! I'm usually not this thick, honnest! But there are buttons that will allow you to browse the gallery without checking back with the thumbnails every time. the <<previous and next>> at top and bottom of every picture. I hope that will compensate!
Malachi Maloney: Thanks!
Cheers!

Great! Like your work every time! It reminds me of finishing my homepage too ... *time, i need time!*
No Problem with the navigation - well i like it, no close-clicking for all those popup-picture-windows.
btw, how old are you?
And well, would be nice to read a bit more of yourself on your site.
And, i especially like those Savage-pictures - never seen them before. _________________ Lars Gtze

Duracel: I'm glady you like the site! An "about" section is underway, though I'm not sure what to put there First I wanted to use an actual photo of me there, you know like writers often put a photo of themselves on the jacket of the book, looking cool and all-knowing... I put on my best shirt and got to it. But my first attempts with the camera were less than gratifying I looked like an old man.
But I enjoy reading stuff like that! I'm 24 by the way.
good luck with your site!
cheers,

the site layout is great,. the images are wonderful,..
but i'll have to agree with sumaleth,. the javascript to view the images is quite annoying,.
normally when i view a gallery wit thumbnails i right-click/open in new window,. on about five images at a time,. this way while the images are loading i can be browsing other things at the same time,.
but,.it is your site, i'll have to work to accomodate myself in this situation |
