wicked perspective...i like the way the shadows are cast on the subjects too...the back ground lighting is nice....although her collar bone area and shoulders and chest look funny....maybe not sharp enough.?...

Very cool. You've done a good job of painting a beautiful woman that I'd NEVER want to meet.

I was wondering if it was just me or not, but it seems like this isn't quite as finished as it could be. On one hand, the overall variation in detail levels definitely keeps you focused on her face. On the other, some additional detail in her chest and clothing could help (albeit subtly) suggest additional personality.

I also like the primary and secondary reflections in the building to the right. Gets across the material of the building very nicely. I just can't figure out why the window frames are so meticulously drawn with hard edges, while the light cast from them is done with quick scribbles. If this is intentional, then rock on. I love it.

merlyns - thank you, I appreciate the feedback.

insider - yeah, you are right, the details fall off towards the edges. I had intended that to be intentional, but what I probably could have done was simplify and made the forms read better, rather than just looking like I ran out of steam there. Thanks for the observations!

sensei - yes, correct read - I wanted to keep the piece pretty sketchy, and maintain focus on the woman's face. As I noted above, I could probably have done a better job on the periphery of the painting. The window reflections were sketched in very loosely, and the windows were done using the lasso tool, which is why they look so different.

Max - I'm not awesome, but I am sure glad you liked this so much!

I should note that the mask design on the guy is a design by "d3d6uy" posted on the concept design forum:
