Tomasis - hehe. :)
IDMAN - your picture made me think of Wolfenstein, very good game. :)
Ceenda - I was confused there too for a while when you talked about Duracel but I guess you talked about Max picture.
Keep it up everyone

Capt Fred, I would do more pastels but I can't find em. I have another set but they got left out in the rain or something and are now like nails. I might have to break down and get some of those soft silky lubricated ribbed French Sennelier pastels. Very expensive and very worth it. I have been using nupastels, left over from car days.
Stay away from Frost you evil snakewoman!
I tried to make snow without blue. I don't know why.

I do not like this. I do not like it on a train or a plane or flopped. It has exactly the qualities that I can't stand to see, namely highly finished art that is badly drawn.

Ok, I'm confused here. I don't see the "badly drawn" or the "highly finished" that you're talking about it your piece. I spot no mistakes with anatomy or proportions, nor do I see any areas lacking spontaneity and rendered to death. WHAT exactly are you trying to achieve these days with your art? What do you consider "well-drawn" or with the "right" level of finish? You are pretty smitten with Hardcorepix's work. Do you see things in his work that you feel is lacking in your own? |

Max Kulich: I am utterly thick. I was referring to your picture and got the names mixed up in my head, but you've both been doing awesome work here. |

I can never believe how consistently Oblagon's work is overlooked. Doesn't anyone else appreciate it? I cant understand...
Anyways, on your most recent post:
#1 - I can't count how many characters similar to this you have done....not my taste in shapes/colors
#2 - incredible.....this is the kind of stuff I wish you could create and I could stare at all day long |

Lunatique, I will think more about how to explain myself and answer in a couple of days.
Inspired by Ceenda's nice sketch of the nautilus. I liked it.
