Hey there Vamp,
On the blue guy, for the forearm, the muscles actually come in from the elbow towards the body, rather than move outwards. The brachioradialis and the ext. carpi rad longus ( I only know these because I just got done doing an hour of anatomy study.. ) come in from the elbow region and up to the underside of your forearm ( actually ending at your palm I believe.. )
The shading seems a little smudgy, but you're better at it than I am, so I can't say much! Only comment on the knight guy I would have is the left calf/knee seems a little small. It's actually closer to us, but looks shorter than his right leg is.
I like the poses alot though and the armor on the knight looks really good, I'd like to see that one colored.
Hope this helps.

Second one looks better than first. Coloring on first look airbrushy/smudgy... maybe try hard brushes and bit less saturated colors _________________ a.k.a. azazel or eltazar |

Your work seems promising you still need tons of work on anathomy and i agree with all the others about the use hard brushes to paint, trusth me just with that your work will have more quality. _________________ Never underestimate the stupidity of the human race.Sorrow is the contrast of happines then sorrow is some how the esence of happiness + =

if i understand well, as maxetormer, CwStone and azz post, i need to avoid airbrush, but if i need to make a degradation what i use??? i can use low opacity hard burches???? how i can delinated borders, if i use the smodge tool(the hand with the finger tool =P) to mix the line and the color the borders got some blur, well i know that painter have watercolor tool but i don't have painter, i always use photoshop, how i can do something like watercolor tool of painter in photoshop???? |

I really like ur concepts keep em coming
Ok first, do you own a wacom tablet ? if u do, then the way to go if u wanna clean gradientes is to use the "lasso" tool and the airbrush to make ur gradients hard edged, personally i dont use the sumdge tool at all, I use a hard brush most of the times i bend the colors by using more or less presure per example if i wanna make a gradient form yellow to brown, i paint brown and on top of it i put a small amout of yellow color with very little presure.
It is hard to explain only with words ill have to show ya in real life for me to explain the procese correctly.
Aside form that the ligthing sems a bit low on the contrast , the direccion is ok but u need to use darker colors for the knight to really stand out so that the lighter color u are already using can increast the volumen of the pics.
I ma gonna try to show you, because this is the best way in wich i express my self, I hope i help with this half hour paint over. see ya i have to get to the university :

the rock on the BCKG look way better (more rocky) i still feel some weird issue on the pectorals they look too hight maybe u should lower them a bit it they certanly look better, (imo ill look for some photo refereces for the backgorund sicen i am not ver fonded on the rocks u used cause they dont give to much sence of deep)
keep it up man the "not so happy knight" it is a good concept as well keep practising ( for not having a tablet u are makeing a vey good job, i started with a mouse as well and it is very dificult to work with a dam mouse he he ) _________________ Never underestimate the stupidity of the human race.Sorrow is the contrast of happines then sorrow is some how the esence of happiness + = |

Nice they are looking better still they both need more definition and i still feel that the rigth hand of the knight looks kinda akward, the coloring is way better than before, in terms of value, the light semm better, a side form tweaking a bit the hand of the knight and sharpening the surfaces bit more (the rocks for instase) the only thing i can tell u now is keep developing the knight more =)
The blue guy is ok too the bckg looks way better now =) i like the distant emours planets (i recomend you to look up for rocky like the Grand Canyon photos and use them as references to paint a better fundamented back ground for the blue guy), what both of them need is just definition meaning u have to keep on working, and deifinig shapes, or not =) u could too call em finished and move on to something else, to get more practice it is entirely up to you =)
keep the good posting up man =) _________________ Never underestimate the stupidity of the human race.Sorrow is the contrast of happines then sorrow is some how the esence of happiness + = |
