I had to make a filter for Photoshop 7 with the Filter-Factory PlugIn:
Desaturate Filter
Since many paintings are too saturated I thought a filter that desaturates images would be cool
No ... actually I just did it because I had to.
Could some of you please try if the filter works (in Photoshop 7)?
Just copy it in the "plug-ins/filter" folder and it should work.
The filter is in Filter->Synthetic.
I want to know if Filter-Factory needs to be installed for example
(not if it actually desaturates or not) _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |

Probably a stupid question but why don't you use the good old Hue/Saturation slider? |

It works bur I have installed Filter-Factory.
It's a nice idea but I'd go for hue/saturation. |

Thanks Max . As Ian already pointed out ... I did it because I had to.
I just had to write a filter that is not trivial (doesn't just delete one color-channel for example)
And there has to be a slider. So I think that should do it. _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |
