Chiani: what can I say.. beautiful stuff as usual

BARoNTiERi - great color, eyesockets look a bit flat though.
riq - thanks a bunch! Lighting and focus are nicely done. Seems a tiny bit underdevoloped.
Mon - I love that wisp of Hair! Great job.
wasssup - very rugged, I like it.

me, tired, almost like it . .

Yeah, nice portraits everyone.

Duracel: I'm desperate to get that amount of grit and grime and texture into my art. Did you use PS?

I'm new here, and this is my first ever self portrait.

Still trying to figure out how to deal with the crappy color picker of PS7.

Hello... great work everyone.

My first painted portrait even (I think). Put together from 4 scans so alignment and rotation might be slightly off (not to mention colours) between the parts resulting in a somewhat different image the the original.

Quick crappy one. Started to doodle in painter8 trial without any idea and ended up looking in the mirror. Lines weren't good but I added colour anyway.

I'll try to start doing many more but I just broke the mirror I had next to my monitor.[/img]

Mikko, great, especially for a first one!

Cybear, like the first watercolor-look-like one (i think its acryl?)

Fab, welcome back! Smile
Whish to see some other old members too.

The others are really, really great, too!!!

This threads niveau is getting better and better! Smile

Duracel: You're partly right Smile It's a charcoal line sketch, then quick acryl base with one colour each for bg, skin, cap and tshirt. Then water mixable oil colour (pretty much limited to the skin and cap area).
