Well let me be the first.
Looks good so far. But don't forget the background. Lightning and coloring, well like to see it finished. |

Jus a random thought here, take as you see fit, but this would look really interesting stylized with sharp edges, a bit of picassio. _________________ den.vvulf |

Hey
I looked in and wanted to give you a tip, I just gave the same tip to another guy.
The eyes are not really aligned so remember to flip the picture Horizontal back and forth which helps you prevent any errors in your pictures.
I remember when I bought my wacom a couple of months ago, very hard to get used too paint with but it comes after a while.
See you in the forum

ACTUALLY
Flipping the picture like that, horizontally, back and forth wouldn't work. The positioning of the troll's head is at a 3/4 angle, so flipping it to correct the eyes would ruin it. That'd be kinda like flipping your body vertically to take a leak. Sorta. Anyway, this picture is actually really neat. Of course, it lacks the colour, but I have many high hopes for the end result of this picture. Nice work. _________________ girls like shining |

Well innocence, I guess you know this stuff.
You know people that are doing portraits and all keeps a mirror in the back, and people who are painting portraits in the computer and are really good at it flips the picture every now and then to correct some things that are not aligned.
Maybe something you should try too "tilokani" (innocence)
ACTUALLY
- the picture can be twisted vertically too, really helps with correcting stuff.

Update, for those who are interested ..
I started a very rough sketch of the background (supposed to be a waterfall in a forest environment)..

No shittin' sherlock. That's when they're doing cause their portraits are from straight on when doing that. It doesn't work properly when doing a portrait from 3/4 angle. Look, I know I'm probably not explaining this properly, and if I'm wrong I'm sorry. You're 12 years older than me, alright, if I'm wrong just tell me. Don't start uneeded beef. I ended my beef with you before, and I was warned and I'm aware, don't bring the same problem out of the dark again.

That's what I mean.
And Matthew, buddy, don't be starting a war or anything man. If I'm wrong tell me, I have no problem. _________________ girls like shining |

You are right there Tilokani about me getting a high pulse.
I thought your answer was a more of to make fun of me and you know that has happened a whole lot in here, there are some other dudes who are quoeteing me and whom are making fun of all my posts and that is getting kind of annoying.
I found a picture which explains it cause the same rules can be applied in a 3/4 portrait and often its easier to see the problem when twisting the picture, the eye often corrects the picture in one view so when flipping the image you see the problem instantly, which works very good with drawings too.
Ok, I am sorry for getting on the wrong track with you Tilokani, I hope we can be friends from now on then. :)

No problem Matt, I'm sorry if i came hard on you there, Anyway, you've got a perfect example of what Electro could consider with the face. The eyes are better than before, but just a *tad* off. _________________ girls like shining |

Hallo,
You've got some good linework going on there, but what i really wanted to comment on is the colouring thats going on. Before you go much further, you should make it darker under the other eyebrow area. (the troubled one)
Because it already looks like trouble is starting there. |

I would pick a lightsource at this stage but that is how I am working, if you do that its easier to start to form the picture. You can start adding texture to the trees etc. as what lalpoo said also, try to fix the other eye-brow area and also be sure to get the eyes in-line, which is something you will see easier with flipping the picture horiziontal.
Keep it up
