is blame! the name of a manga? anyway, i really dig the gritty look to it.. but theres this bugging thing about the arm and leg on the right side of his body.. either his left arm is really short, and his right realyl long, or his left leg really short and his right really long. or it could be both. or a mixture of the two ^^''
hmm
btw, if u did that armour design urself, original, then my hat off to you ^^ i love that belly/waist armour bit. |

still need to develop sharpness, like with a machanical pencil, i like it though, keep trying to change charactor position, all pics look better that way. _________________ crazy guitar player william |

Ideas for a background?...
Heres a good tip.. Try and think who your character is and what he/she is doing? Are they some sort of scavenger lurking through a war-torn city? Are they some sort of alien assassin lyin in wait for their prey?
Once you figure out a background history for your character it becomes easier to make a background for your picture.
Keep up the good work, I really like the helmet and the armour. |

is it just me.... or are half those limbs facing in awkward/impossible directions relating to the body?.... although i can't tell exactly which way the torso is facing either. still i like the design of the armour etc, and the shading has a nice effect too. and legs look a bit short, unless thats part of the character. i particularly like the shading on the cloth and midriff piece of armour. _________________

Next time when drawing.. try thinking of where the person might be (inside, outside.. etc) and work on adding in the background while drawing in the figure.. And work between the two so that they work together.
cause adding a background now, unless if it's insanely simple, will probably have a cursed halo around the figure (white line where you didn't want to draw on the figure.) _________________ fallenlights | shiftingdreams |
