About 15 min in photoshop.
A bit longer than that - excuse me, I'm just a student :p. The work you pros do.... wow. _________________ I wracked my brain and this was all I could come up with. |

i'm blown away by some of the work in this thread:)
bored, i went through the old DVD collection last night (as you do) and watched An American Werewolf in London. What an amazing film that is; incredible mood (especially the beginning), great tension and buildup, some absolutely astounding makeup/transformation by Rick Baker, and even some really great comic relief from the Doctor and Detectives! Anyway, was inspired so did some sketching from some screen grabs:

Great work. Very nice contrast visual myriad.
Elliot you have a very interesting style.
Craig you seem to give up in all the right moments.

Perhaps I pushed the edge on this being a "speed" painting. Not that it shows. I think it actually turned out semi-Ok. I'd love any suggestions if you got 'em.

It's amazing how I can tell which ones are Craig's paintings just by that outstanding color of red he uses. I don't think that anyone else is gutsy enough to do it.
A little over an hour I think:
