I'v got a problem

I'v got a site, 1200 *.html files, plain html. When i need to change something in the menu (like adding a new button) i just use some free app that massivly changes some part of the text in all the files.

But this time its different. The menu on the site will have to be avaible in two languages. There are two flags close to the menu you click on one flag the menu is in enlighs you click on the other one the menu is in polsih.

It sounds very simple but iv got this problem. Those flags on each of the 1200 *.html files will be a link to a different file - egzample: the file nr 120, you click on the english flag it will point to an english version of the file 120. So its im possible to use the massive text editor as the changed text will look on every page different)

two solution i can think of:

1. massive text editor that got some advanced options like <instead of this text use a file name of the file you are changing>

2. a java script that will make possible that the whole code is in one file so i can apply that code to every page

Pleas help me it's IMPORTANT, give me some links or anythink i know there are some profesionals here. Thanks

i just did it in traditional way, you choose the language at the entrence to the site. but thanks anyway

AndyT: it's not about my homepage. I was at work and i was modifing our company site, thats why i said it was important. I've serched the internet for some advanced "search and replace" tool but all are the same and couldn't do it as i wanted. Anyway i did it other way , my boss liked it and there are even few benefits from the new way i did it.
About my hompage the company that hosted my site stoped their free program. And admin of my free domain is alsow unreachable. I tried one new host as for now - web1000 as you sugested - and it didnt work, they say that there can't be too much jpg's comparing to html files BUT as i was typing this i'v cheked and what do you know , its working, don't know how long but the new adress is http://odd.issexy.tv/ will update it in a moment propbably that will kill it again , or maybe not.

yeah i'm still stuck with my old notgameindustryrelated job. decided not to change it until summer break from school. And damn i don't know whats with the website it works for me. One day i will start paying for hosting ....
