So.. HL2 info, screenshots and trailers are released, the game should be released in September (fingers crossed).

The 600Mb .mov E3 presentation is available on several places, do a search for "HL2" on www.filemirrors.com and download it. It looks amazing. The G-man.. wow.. I was speechless.

Dhabih, the owner of this fine establishment works for Valve if I'm not mistaken. If you're reading this.. can we get some sleazy inside information? Wink

I never get to enjoy the first game, because it lacks subtitles at all! Yup, you guessed it, I am actually hearing-impaired. So when I popped the first game into the drive and start to play it, i was so devastated even though a great game is in my hands! I couldn't go through the first level without understanding what's going on at all even more so about what the other characters are saying. So, off with the game's head from my hard drive immediately!!

I hope Half-life 2 will address this matter and become considerate about the the hearing impaired folks around the world. Its just not nice to go for a banquet when they've forgotten all the food!

jeromoo, i think HL1 DID have subtitles!
I surely remember the white/yellow text running at the bottom, but i'm not sure if it was for everything that they said.

*sigh* there's no subtitles at all! *sigh* I've been denied the full half-life experience together with the rest of the hearing-impaired folks around the globe!

Can anyone help me let Valve know about this problem at hand so that they will not repeat another disaster for us poor folks! Sad

At the gamespy website they have a few articles up, some very interesting. The physics they've put into the game is mind blowing. There is also a link to two videos with gameplay footage. One is 25 mb, the other is 600 mb and 30 minutes long. It's hosted on fileplanet though, so expect a long line wait.
