Here is a landscape I finished up a few days ago. I had this idea for a long time and finally got to it. Those trees were a real experience to paint. Fortunatly I enjoyed it all. If you thing there is anything that I could do to push this image further, then give me some direction.
About a 75% detail...
This was all done in Painter 7. _________________ Hire me. http://www.spherenoire.com/ |

wow you really get a feel of depth in there. its very good and high detail etc (very very), although maybe what its missing is some overall effect nearer the front? its almost like a background for something rather than a picture if you get what i mean. maybe add some mist trails along the ground nearer the front, or perhaps some rays of light breaking through some branches. other than that, a really good piece of artwork that doesn't really need anything added. ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) _________________

Wow, amazing. I like that you added a horse. :)
Only one thing that looks a bit odd to me and that is the mountain, cant really decide if it is ice-mountain or plain rock, dont really now how to change it neither, you could tone it down and add some green stuff near the top.
I will add some photos to show what I mean, (not mine) property of www.montagnes.org
I hope I wasnt too harsh and maybe you wanted the picture to stay more fantasy, just wanted to help out.
I really like the picture so keep up the good work.

Hey, nice suggestions everyone.
Ritaku: Yes, it could probably use some more work in the foreground. Perhaps some more rocks and twigs. I liked your suggestions.
Matthew: Yeah the mountains are a little generic. Thanks for the pictures. I'm always too lazy to go looking for reference.
agflash: Thanks. I guess this took about two weeks working on it off and on.
merlyns: Thank you. Hmm, yellowish lighting.. I could try that. _________________ Hire me. http://www.spherenoire.com/ |
