i got this far and now i'm not sure about the rest..... suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
oh and please give lots of crits and stuff  ya. i might turn it into more of a creature than human looking thing but dunno yet. |

so far i think it looks great! not sure about that hand.. maybe shade in that triangle so it seems as if theres actually shadow and the hand is in a fist...
i dunno..
other than that which bothers me i think it looks like a guys anatomy? but its a feminine garb..
pretty cool i guess.. post more please! |

I dunno, I htink the clothing looks like a cross btween a buddhist monk and a skater. PErsonally I think it looks great at the moment, especially your use of line. I'd try and finish it off a bit more though, cause criting a sketch isn't alot to work with.
And I definately don't get the feminine masculine comment..... |

cross between monk and skater. right.... best go find some reference or something.... i tried a couple of ideas (or rather drew over it and hoped for the best) and got terrible stuff so i'm still stuck on what to do for lower half. i thought either something animal-like, something mechanical, or just human but with strange clothes..... or or or... dunno... anybody who knows of some good pics i could use please speak up and i'll try get the lower half going tonight.
and i get what UTM said, its a man's body but the style of clothes is more feminine.
*hits forehead repeatedly* think, think, think, think, think...

ta-dah, update. still not having much luck with the legs though and its reminding me of dbz which is a very very very bad thing in my book. but still..... crit and suggestions by all means welcome and appreciated.

Using reference is a good idea. Did you ever find any? Try Google's image search if not.
If it's a man, the neck is too large for the body. If it's a woman, it's far too large. |
