It's a shame you aren't going to finish it. I like the flow and feel of it. It could really be something special with the lighting and tones perfected and some fine tuning.
Very anime in theme but the sky reminds me of ghostbusters 2. I like the details in the lit windows especially since the homelyness contrasts so much with the little girl teetering on the roof top on her own. If only the radiance of the light was completed this would totally blast. I can relate to getting tired of working on a pic though. _________________ I wracked my brain and this was all I could come up with. |

Hehehe, it does =P I think it looks great! Buildings may need a bit more detail if you want to improve on it, but I enjoy it as it stands. Alot of flow with the painting and a cool concept! |

I feel like i don't want to see the face of the big bird in the foreground. the eye seems like a little too much.
otherwise, fantastic. a damn shame you're not finishing it. |

A agree with ABetterReality, it's a damn shame this is as finished as it's going to get, because this is stunning so far. I really think you should polish this up some more, if not now then take a break and continue it some other time, but eventually this piece deserves to be finished. Really, the only things that look obtrusively rough are the second bird (all the way to the right) and the girl. The rest of the sketchiness actually works in a way. The bird's face in the foreground does look a little too comical for this scene, so I'd recommend turning it away a bit or refining it to look less cartoony. But really, I wholeheartedly recommend polishing this up, I think it would really pay off in the end. |
