Matt, the foregroudn looks real good.
But, moonlight didnt give any noticeable rimlight. (i know this - i studied it in a fullmoon-night myself in the garden ^^)
And "natural surfaces" are always clear darker than the sourrounding sky, or, if they are "lighted" by the moon and in front of "the sky which is opposite the moon", those surfaces(i.e. trees) are perhaps as light as the sky.
Lighter surfaces than the sky are really rare.(for example snow - or reflections of course.)

@Fred
Reminds me of Rowan Atkinson! Very Happy

^^

Bleh...
Took me an hour to fail to fix what I'd done in the first half-hour.

Duracel: yeah, rowan atkinson, someone else has said that to me!

This picture isn't any good, but I found a method of working which I like, which is new to me but proably not to all you pro's. I just pick any old weird dark colour for my 'black' value, any old light one for my 'white', I pick a light and a dark value within the range set by the blakc and the white and put them all in my swatches palette in photoshop and then I just paint with 'em. It's really fun.

Duracel - Yeah you are right there, I confuse these things,
I actually blended with the light source,
thank you for sharing the tip. Smile

hey all!

oDD that last one is gReat! great atm perspective and loving the armor choice. the little people also give it some story:)

Mon - these creatures are so cool, very well formed. The white makes them like little displays Smile

HPX - tears ? interesting graphic!

visual myriad - great setup! some darker would really bring the froreground to life! the trees are just great!

Duracel - love to see a SP like this! naturalistic like Smile

kinda like this one.

Thanks HPX.

Here's one of my grandfather.
Was quick but still over-worked I feel. Definitely overworked.
