The old Sierra Spacequest 1 & 2. I played them on my Tandy 1000hx computer. I miss that machine. 256k of ram, a speedy 7mhz processor, and enough hard drive space for command.com, autoexec.bat and config.sys-thats it. Everything else was on 720kb diskettes. I played that and Sopwith Camel, a little plane game. All the other games I typed up in BASIC from listings in a bunch of magazines (nope, not even qbasic, TANDY BASIC, no gui ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Oh wow, what a great thread to create my very first post in!
California Games.. wow, thanks for bringin' back the memories Brain.
The old Sierra games were all pretty fun. I was incredibly addicted to Mario Kart for SNES for the longest time. Excitebike was great, so was the original Mike Tyson's Punch-Out. Man, there are far too many more to list.
Great thread! |

Swany,
Buy a Gameboy Advance dude, Sonic is coming for it!
Actually, the Gameboy Advance has done wonders for feeding my hunger for all the old classics. Super Mario (SNES) is coming out soon as well. Not to mention Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Final Fight, etc.. already fully playable. Mmmm.. dusty games. |
