spooge : i like how you achieve a composition everytime on the largest scale within the picture space that makes it a composition with a certain abstract degree......it's remarkable how your paintings are built upon a solid large-scale composition leading the eye very effectively ) _________________ If there is no God, who pops up the next kleenex in the box? |

Farley13 - More action in the next one, I had that tip from Spooge too with the eyes and I have loosed the pupils in the eyes but I think the Iris should be visible from that range ...hmmm, could be the lightsource or shading that makes it confusing. Anyway, thank you for the tip.
Duracel - Thank you Duracel, I gotta say that you are also getting better and better and better, your latest is awesome.
Drunken Monkey - That looks like a character from Star Trek, cant put my finger on whom but it could be the doctor in the Original Series. Very good.
Capt.Fred - Cool car.

Just made for a good friend that is having some hard times and today said: "tomorrow the sun will shine and everything will be brighter". She meant it literally as it was raining and cold, which is odd at this time of the year in Spain. What she meant is that we are so used to sun that it really affects our lifes.

Hi all!
This is my first entry into the speedpaint-world. Well, 1,5 hours is very speedy for me. Done from sketch to finish in that time, all digital, but I don't know what the heck I was thinking.
Here goes!

Hey Mat, thanks for the kind words.
Everyone's work here is so incredibly good. Its taken me quite a while to gain enough skill as an artist to feel somewhat worthy to post here.
This is a sketch i did for the most recent daily sketch group over at conceptart.org. Fun stuff

Drunken Monkey - Ahh yeah I thought I had seen him somewhere.
Retinal Haze - Your style is amazing, is that white and black lines only? Nice.
Starglider2 - hehe, hello
Heres another one. I got inspired when I watched the Speed Thread earlier so I had to make one, should be more action in this one.
I am not Santa Claus thou I nowadays have a Beard and remember Orion is not stars in line.

damn, always following flushie...
starglider, debris on the ground is like any other thing, except it kinda falls inbetween a texture and identifiable forms. But the basic approach still applies: blur your eyes a little and paint what you see. Can't go wrong. After a while you will be able to paint it from your head. I had a hard time following your second question, sorry.
