A groudbreaking documentary on the legendary fantasy artist Frank Frazetta is soon to be released. The 96 minute film will initially be available on VHS, and later on DVD.
The film will also be premiered in Los Angeles at the Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention on April 6 2003.

It's out on DVD. I got it a couple of days ago through Netflix and watched it twice.
If you want to know more about Frazetta, don't miss it.
I was telling some CG animators in their 20's that I know about it. None of them had ever heard of him. "Maybe you don't know the name, but you'll know the work for sure," I said as I googled up some images.
Not a glimmer of recognition from any of them except one, who saw a similarity to the Boris Vallejo National Lampoon's Vacation one-sheet. |

i still have it taped when they showed it on IFC...this man is incredible, he has a stroke and he can no longer paint or draw because his right arm no longer works as it used to, so what does he do? He learns to paint and draw left handed  |
