This goes somewhat with the UFO thread, but this one's about ghosts. This picture was taken the night that the moon was suppose to turn a bright red. Not that honey moon color, but red red. Well it was a perfect night for moon gazing no cloud in sight. I was freezing, but a blanket took care of that. We (my mother, brother and I) set out in our back yard waiting for the moon to change. When it did my brother got a picture, but when we got it back there was something on it that we didn't see in the sky. There was a big haze foggy thing. As seen in the picture.
Ghost? Angel? Fog?
Well my brother said it looks like an angel. I can see that. The head is to the left wings out streached to the right. But I guess if you want to see a bunny in it you will.
Well this is the first picture I ever got like this. Usually I go through the web laughing at these kind of pictures, but I thought I'd post this.
Any of you have any pictures like this? Do you have any pictures that you've altered? (done this and sent it into one of those ghost sites) Any ghost stories of your run ins with the paranormal? |

I doubt using a flash really helps when trying to photograph astronomical bodies
The mass appears to have some focal blur, so my guess would be that its something very small and close to the lens . . . could even be something like condensation or vapor inside the camera triggered by warm electronics on a cold night. |

i've seen stuff muuuuuuuuuch scarier than this. A long time ago, they photographed a group of six WWII pilots who survived. The photo came out with seven pilots.
Everyone got confused, they identified this one extra person. This person was an old friend of these six pilots and he was dead long before the photoshoot.

Just kidding.
I did once have a VERY odd experience, though. I was living out in Niagara Falls, and one night, so late the sun was almost rising on the new day, I was walking home. It was still pitch black, and freezing cold--the middle of winter. Disgusting weather. It was so damn cold I couldn't feel my feet.
I was about five blocks from home when the weirdness happened. I was just about to walk under a streetlight when...it flickered and went out. I hurried to get out of the darkness, but when I went under the next streetlight, it went out too, and so did the next one! At that point, I turned off onto a side-street and took a different route home. |

HAHAHHAHA! I wouln't mind if i see a ghost like that. To kill it, I just use my wacom pen and erase it off.
Here's another one by me he he. At 6, sitting in my bed, I stare at the glowing light bulb above my ceiling. Then, all of a sudden, it died.

Socar what about this?
Everytime I walk by this certain streetlight near my home it flickers and goes dead. Everytime, and what makes it worse is it is completly random. It just turns off.... |

We have some pictures that my brother took with the same camara before and after this picture and I'm talking maybe a few seconds in betweeen. And nothing on those... I'm not saying it's a ghost or what not I just think it's weird and really cool looking. |

Hmm weird, I used to walk across this bridge for a year and under a streelight at the end of the bridge, almost everytime it would go off when I reached it. Just that one light.

jabberwocky: Were the rest of the photos taken of the exact same direction, or did you turn around? |

I have no clue where the rest of them are at. My brother took the pictures. My mother just found this one and gave it to me.
I remember seeing them all before it was right after he got them developed cause he made a big deal out of how that this one had that "smokey" stuff and none of the others did. And he was right. Then he said something aboout seeing the angel in it. So I have no clue where the others are that were on that roll. |

I was just thinking it might be something on the lens, a smudge that only becomes visible when the light hits it at the right angle. |

I see it as cigarette smoke. Seen a lot of this on party images....
If there isn't a smoker in your family, it must be the ghost smoking, hehe.

nope none of us smoke. My mother use to until I got on her case about when I was in 6th grade, and my b/f wouldn't kiss me if I smoked and I have asthma.
I've been looking for the other ones on that roll, but still no luck. |
