Nicely rendered.

I'm uncomfortable with the way you had different perspective sets merged into a single image (in each of those pics). Is this deliberate?

Sweet! - It's Night of the living Dead meets Gangs of New York.

Really nice horriific/social realist style - what kind of game are these for? I'd love to see more if you have em - bigger too!

Hi everyone!

Sumaleth - thanks, but I'm not quite sure what you mean by different perspective. I usually don't think too much about that when I work, so if there is something off then I probably thought it fitted the compostition =)

the_insider - Thank you!

B0b - =)

Capt. Fred - thanks, my fave also. That one was great fun to make, very speedy and intuitive.

Matthew - Yepp! Men det r vran lilla hemlighet Wink

marc_taro - Thank you! It's supposed to be in a genre that I'm not all that familiar with - steampunk fantasy. And they're for a good ol' pen and pencil RPG. I did some character portraits aswell, but they're not all that exciting to look at =)

Cheers!

Well, enough praise has been added that I don't mind bringing up the negative -

In spite of all the good qualities, all of these images have a total lack of motion.

The lighting, detail, technique, composition, are all superb, but the figures all look like manicans. No motion at all, just static poses =(

very nice play on values. I like how you selectively made areas of interest low contrast and high key.

Dr. Bang - Ahahaha!!!! =) Man, you crack me up! Oh, btw, I'm now 24 since feb. 17 Very Happy

DL-44 - Hm, that's not very good at all... I'll work on it until the next time.

Lunatique - Thanks!

SolarC - I don't think about it at all, it starts out a totall mess (most of the times) and then I try to refine it as I go along. Chaos is the key Wink

acrynick - They're all made up from scratch, mostly because I was commissioned to do them. I read an unnerving article about copyright issues in illustration and the use of other people's photos as refernence. They might actually sue you, so I didn't want to take any chances =) If I had a dozen people, access to all possible kinds of clothing and a proper studio with lights and those cool reflection-screens I would use photos all the time though Razz

Cheers!
