Here was my first attempt at a digital illustration.

Pretty happy with this which then allowed me to do the fruit still life.

The only filters I used were the 'add noise' and 'lens flare' and maybe 'gaussian blur'

SWEET!!! that DAGGER IS AWESOME!!!
that lens flare is brutal tho... get rid of it. Very Happy
there could be a bit more of a feeling of depth on the handle (it seems a little 2D)... the detail on this dagger is simply amazing!

I agree the lens flare is blinding...I rarely use it if at all...but being my first piece. I didn't know any better. the reference was also very flat...I also learned not to rely so much on photos unless that is my objective.
