Here is my 2nd project in PS I used 5.5-7.0 with a wacom tablet.
I couldn't get the glass just right so I used a photo.
always happy with critique.

Thank you so much,
I have used this picture in my portfolio to hopefully get a job at Hallmark.
With ADD NOISE filter and lots and lots scribbles on the tablet. I usually paint in 3 - 5% with a small soft brush 3-5 pixel. (working at 300 dpi at 7x10) _________________ She's got all the money, Money couldn't buy... |

it is a photo...
[edit]
Well to save my ass in this unlikely case it isn't a photo, can you post your referance... as you must have had one. _________________ http://jcaart.cjb.net |

I can't find my reference photo, But yes I did have one. I will outline my process.
I set up the still life, then took a photo of it, developed it and then printed a 8x10 or similar size. I then made a outline sketch and scanned it in. Then painted the image in photoshop. I started this image with PS 5.5 and then got 6. I recently got PS 7 and did a little color correction in it. The only photo used in the actual painting is the Screened window.
The yellow pear and the gray wall look to me like a digital painting where as the plum and green pear look more photo like.
I have been called a hyper-realist, due to the attention to detail.
My goal is to create a photo realist painting with no hint of digital...although I love the digital side. My background was in woodcuts for editorial illustration.

Oh I cant tell which is the real photo. Never seem works as vivid as this one.
Perhaps you can post the screen shots of the different stages you worked on it, especially how that those surfaces are made. And give a few instructions.
And eager to see your other works. Just so awful. _________________ http://ebrian.epilogue.net |
