Jr: thank you so much. That is very cute. I know He also is your selfpotrait.
Jeromoo: thank you so much for your support. Malaysia have beautiful costumes. I am very interest of your culture. Can't wait to see more from you.
Okay... Now we talk about this costume. This trail name ArChang. Now I am painting the man custume. (I do ArChang woman's next).
Ar Chan live at YunNan province which located south of China. This trail good about hand made sword. They been well know the sword made by ArChang in Chinese history. The sword collector say Hand made ArChang sword "The flexible curl aroud finger. The sharp can cut through the steel like cut the vegetables."
Next month I am going to China. Hope can find one of ArChan sword.

well, while im still sick, I have enough time to work on pictures........
This is me again, only dressed up for a prom (wich I dont even go to, I made up the dress myself) only for my face and body I used a photo ref, the rest I've used my imigination
Ive added a background and stuff, and I though it looked way too moviestarish, so I put my Name on It
Oh yeah I was talking over this thing with merlyns, I dont own a tablet, I draw everything with my mouse.... _________________ "try trippin' on acid for 96 days, maybe it will cure our addictions to illusions" |

Everytime I see a piece of your work, ChiaNi, I'm blown away.
Your understanding of composition/color/lighting/texture - the whole work - is truly humbling.
Between this and the self portrait thread, I'm in awe.
Requiem - unfortunately I get a lot of red-X's for your images =( Perhaps only a temporary problem? |

I am not a big fan of changing outfit. But I think this thread is interesting.
ChiaNi, you look handsome in your ArChang male costume.
It seemed you know much more about the minorities in China than I do.
Here is mine. An old one, an elf archer in her modern dress.
btw, are you going to southern China, then take care. Perhaps you already know, there is a spread of pneumonia in that region. _________________ http://ebrian.epilogue.net |
