You wouldn't BELIEVE the day I've had. Anyone who reads my online journal knows that nothing ever happens to me. I eat. I draw. My life is boring.

Well, it isn't even 10 AM, and the following things have happened to me:

At just after midnight: http://www.rattysghost.com/cgi-bin/journal.cgi?folder=journal&next=25

Less than an hour ago: http://www.rattysghost.com/cgi-bin/journal.cgi?folder=journal&next=26

Sheesh!

Oh Geez. Socar, that SUCKS!

I'm so over the rat story - it's the hair story that is truly frightening...

What was this scissor-happy broad thinking? That's supershort hair, not a "trim"!

Anyway, I must say, I had a similar haircut a few years ago, and you just need the smallest bit of growth to make it look/feel normal again! I promise - it will be no time at all!

In the meantime, tell people you feel SASSY with the new do!

I'm sooooo sorry for you and the whole hair thing. Did you think of buying a wig or something until it grows out?

Rat? that one sounded like something in a horror movie... you know when they try to scare you but it's not really the monster after the person...

Man you're really having a bad day. days... with that hair cut a few months. You have my total sympathie...

Nah, I'm not going to go THAT far. Wigs are itchy.

Yes, it is a hideous haircut, but I find that if I pretend I don't have the Frankencut, and just behave as if I look wonderful, people don't notice it so much.

The rat story I actually found hilarious, but this just definitely proves my point of never letting anyone touch your hair! (I'm very very very protective of my hair rawr) I've never heard of "textured" being applied to real life hair before. That uhm stylist needs to go back to sheering sheep I think. You have my sympathies! I want my long hair back too wah.

Yeah, that sounds right--I remember seeing it somewhere besides ADOM...but it's in ADOM as well. When you walk into a dark room, occasionally it gives you the grue line.

Tee hee I've been found out, yes Zork I a game in my youth I spent far too many hours perfecting my speed running techniques through it! (hey, no internet back then, had to do something!) Perfect Blue is one of my fav animes! Up there with Grave of the Fireflies and Ghost in the Shell. Glad to see people here with good taste in games and anime tee hee. Hmm ... I'll be having to give this ADOM a looksee then.

Good lord, Socar, you've been mutilated. As long as you don't mind it short you can always get it cut more evenly (somewhere cheap) and style it with mousse or something- you know, what do they call it, the pixie cut? As long as you're growing it out you might as well get a good foundation.

Gothic Gerbil, I'd noticed the second line of your signature was from ADOM earlier this morning, but I just realized where the FIRST line of your signature was from, too...I KNEW it sounded awfully familiar....

ADOM and Perfect Blue...hm....

Love that line too.

There's only one solution Socar. Go back to the Sinead O'Connor look. Shave it off and start from scratch, or is that itch

your hair will grow back and looks like you're moving away from the rat-infested pad - from the sounds of it, things are looking up already!

What's with the frowny face, Trigger...am I not good enough for Sweden?

Actually, I'm moving there because my boyfriend is from there. He lived here with me for many years while I went to school...now it's my turn.

How could any human, brain or no brain think someone would want a haircut that even slightly resembles yours? No offense, I hope.
