Hello

One of the pictures that is on the Hero the Movie site.
It is not an over-paint but I picked the colors. Kind of turned out to be pretty cool, what do you think.
C&C appreciated. Smile

This is pretty good, it could use more definition though, and more solid colors the form and subject kinda gets lost in the muddiness of a lot of this. The face and background are especially unclear, there seems like there should be a little more contrast in the face. The hair and clothing both ought to be a bit more solid. And it seems like in the original the background has a bunch of leaves swirling around, like a windy fall scene, though I oringinally thought fire. Which is more the feeling I'm getting from yours.

There's my two cents, keep pegging away, I'm loving your speedpaintings

Working from reference? Excellent! That makes me quite happy. But you're cheating yourself when you pick the colors. Try to find them on your own or you'll never learn how.

Hey, I have had problem with connecting to the forum today so I hope this answer will show.

merlyns - yeah the proportions need work. Thank you.

requiem-on-acid - Thank you.

Gygaxis - The whole picture could need some work yes. The leaves was left out intentionally. Im still confused with making cloth more realistic, either I get the cloth to be very smudgie or it turn out to be this rough as it is here. Thank you for the tips and nice comment on my speedies. Thank you.

ChiaNi - Thank you for your support ChiaNi and for the support during the flaming. You think the expression in my picture is better. Very Happy Thank you.

gezstar - hehe, I havent seen them around that much, good thing. I hope I can call the flaming days the old days now...hehe. Thank you.

Max Kulich - That is really cool that you also think that the expression is better in mine. Cool. Very Happy You are the one that keeps me speed-painting Max. Thank you.

Mon - Greetings from Sweden. Smile Thank you.

shin - Cool that you replied shin. Thank you.

Drew - yep I am using reference more now and it is getting quite addicting actually. You are right about the color, I choosed some of my own but the most of them were picked and it felt like cheating, felt I had to say it thou. The next one will be color-picked by me. Smile Thank you.

AdamChen - I wasnt able to caught the resemblance in her face, see if it I can modify later but I think I will call it a day on this one, just for practicing purpose mainly. Thank you.

I am very glad for the feedback on this picture, once again thanks.
Keep up the work and I see you in the forum.
Matthew
