Hi there. Here's my latest stuff - the sequential pages are from a Lenny Zero story (he's a character from 2000AD magazine, although these designs are mine). The standalone pic is one I posted a while ago... but it's part of the portfolio so I stuck it in here too Smile

Hey bro, your ish isn't showing. And your file names end with .txt. Shouldn't they end with .jpg or .gif? I tried changing the file type, but they still didn't show...

Hey gezstar, first time I see your work I gotta say I'm impressed, these are looking damn sweet! easy good enough to be doing strips for the AD I reckon!

Really nice layout and compositions going on, I'd love to see the original line work too.

Kick arse job my man.

Nice work! In the second one - the buildings of the city scape all look rather.... phallic.... Deliberate?

wow....sweet stuff there buddy. love the vivacity in them and the clean look.

2 things stroke me in the second picture though.... in the first image of the second picture a lot of the buildings look like......phallic representations O_o;
and in the last image the guy's uniform looks a lot like Judge Dred's uniforms.

Damn guys, thanks!! If I wasn't such a hard manly bastard I'd be blushing Razz

Cos, cheers maaate! Seriously, coming from you, that's so cool to hear. Glad you mentioned the layouts, cause that's pretty important with comics too. I'm gonna try to post some pencils up at some point. Thanks again!
Malachi, my face when reading your comment - Smile ... Very Happy ... Laughing Cheers man, and also for all the advice. Laters bro!
Radiater, thanks there! Uhh, about the phallic buildings, I'm fairly happy to say I'm not entirely responsible - this is part of the Judge Dredd world, where buildings have this... look about them. I dunno if it was intentional on Ezquerra/McMahon/etc.'s part, but that's just the way they look Confused
Hoodz, cheers man.
david, glad you liked the style - thanks man.
paranoid?, thanks for the kind words. About the buildings, see above - and as for the uniform, well that's cause it's actually a Judge uniform, like the one Dredd wears.

very cool stuff - the only thing that bothers me are the first four frames on the fourth panel, somehow they dont match the quality of the others (especially the frame with the girl on the floor looks a bit weird, I suppose because the anatomy is off a bit and you show a bit too much).

One thing I really noticed is that the characters don't look consistant from different angles.

One good example is how different the character looks in the second to last page, panel 2 and panel 5 seem to show two different people. Yes, people do look different from different angles, but it's really jarring in that example.

Hi & thanks for the comments. Hase - I agree with you about the first two panels on page 4, but I've got to tell you, I'm pretty happy with how 3 & 4 turned out... just a matter of taste I guess Smile
InitialT, yeah, it's something I should work on, but your example from page 4, panel 2 & 5 - you must mean the girl right? She looks pretty similar to me.

I love the rendering/coloring in your work! It's very nice. The only crit I have is the anatomy here and there, like the lady on the floor seems a bit strange, but it's not a big issue and is very forgivable with the overall quality being as good as it is. Great work!

Awesome comic! It has a real mega city one atmosphere. You should get a job at 2000AD, man.
The painting is sweet, and the last panel rules. I dunno why you think the girl looks different in panel 2 and 5, Initial T, cos she not only looks like the same in both, but looks damn fine, too!
can't wait til the next one.
