Okay, so this started as a quick 2am drawing for the Bio Vehicle DSG Exercise on ConceptArt. http://209.126.148.88/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3991

Then we were screwing around in IRC and somehow i talked ap0c and Frost into doing paintovers... then i talked Nivbed into doing one and now i guess i'm just collecting 'em. Smile

ap0c fixed the perspective along with some lighting:

Frost fixed the cab and made it look really freakin' cool:

and Nivbed... well he wrecked it. Literally. LOL:

So have fun, do what you want, just do it fast, i'm more collecting than looking for pointers, cuz i'm done with that particular image, but i'll take all crit with appreciation.

..more Mullins bait.

Spent most of the day on and off, experimented with some texture brushes. All pretty good fun, havent done any work like this in ages. I wish I had time to do it more often.

All a bit dark tho.. Twisted Evil
Enjoy.

Hey I really like these...I dont think yours is too dark though, there's no such thing as "too dark" Smile, only "too dark for someone who may have wanted to see it in more light". I dig it. Anyway I did my own version of this sketch and it is my first real digital painting. I'm proud of it but I dont have any web space so I can post it here on the forums; do you guys know where I can get some web space (free)?

Those are all great! Smile
Really interesting what different people made out of one single image.
