two things that i see immediately is that the water in the middle of the picture seems too saturated, looks out of place. Also, there's a weird red thing on the left half of the picture with yellow dots in it, looks a bit like a screaming fire demon monkey thing, what is it?
Aside from that, its a very nice picture, i really like the sky and the skyline in particular. those clouds really kick ass. |

Simoom: Anyone can plainly see that those wierd red things on the left with the two dots is a volcano spewing ash into the air (is it? lol) hehe.
But I agree the water could use a touch up... think of reflections from the sky and from the jungle... don't go off too deep with it... mild rippled reflections maybe would help? Who knows heh. Just looks too simple. But hey its a WIP and maybe you haven't come around to doing it yet :p
Good luck and good job so far. Post updates!
Btw that jungle looks very intriguing gj _________________ Meep meep |

Simoom - yeah i know the red part was fist a volcano. I liked the smoke
so i wanted to keep it to help the composition from falling to the left.
I tried to make it look like something was going into space, a shuttle or something. But i have no removed it and added a tree (much better
The water is bugging me too, im working on it. i have done a little things
but more to come
Xyster - it started as a volcano, then it became something else and is now ended as a tree
Yes, the water im working on it.. comming
New update (see image on top).
Finally i fixed a thing that bugged me in the composition,
everything was leaning or falling left. And the volcano i had
destroyed the perspective. And the smoke and "things" that
was after that was confusing and realy off-place.
So i fixed the sky, and then added a new tree (not finished).
I also removed the sand area below the water on the left,
made a new rock there instead. I also merged two rocks to one.
The water in the back got a little smaller, changed the beach.
Worked a little on the foreground forest, added some detail at the tops.
Added a moon and some stars.
Ahh, soo much more to do. And now weelend is over and work starts,
i will try to work hard each night. It's first now i start to like the BIG picture. Before this update i only liked a few parts but not the painting in whole.
Take care.
I appreciate every comment, suggestion and tip. _________________ Sincerely

I am very much aware of the perspective error, im working on it. It is one of thoose things that is bugging me in the back of the head
if anyone find time to do a quick paintover what to fix about the perspective i would be grateful. not enough time.. arghh. Been working on it too long so i cant see. All i know is that its wrong. Not much, but still..
Ok. new update: 2003.03.10 - 19.32
Check painting ontop.
+ Added water reflections of forest and sky in water.
+ Started some basic details on the foreground forest.
+ Added some more white water below the waterfall
+ Changed the river in the back
- saturated the background forest
- used burn to darken some parts of the forest
+ added some basic leaves falling
...
Take care. _________________ Sincerely
