Hi!

I have been busy but still found some time to finish a few own 3D projects. Here are some shots. Feedback is welcome. Thanks.

Nice. I know absolutely nothing about 3D, so I can't offer any technical advice, but I can tell what I like. The first looks great, reminds me of Thief (don't know if you've played it). The second is good as well. I love his expressions. Looks very lively and believable. I would say that his upper ear needs some more work, as it's a little flat right now, like a potato chip. Needs to be more bumpy and curly... Well, look at your own for reference, if you've got them. If you don't, then I apologize for my insensitivity. Also, his little goatee doesn't seem to be in any shadow. Looks too bright, especially in the upper-right pose. Still, this all looks pretty damn good.

petteri: (jengi ei varmaan diggaa jos heitt paljon lpp universaalilla suomen kielell...) okei. kiitos kumminkin. en tied. ensin tytyy sanoo etten m luota noihin kouluihin missn suhteessa niss hommissa. ne opettaa vaan perusteita ja ei ne opettajat yleenskn tajua mit on rendauksen sisin. en oo siis ollu missn opinahjossa, mutta muutama tuttu on kyll saanut koulukohtaista opetusta. ett se niist. m oon opiskellu siis ihan itsenisesti jo seitsemn vuoden ajan enemmn tai vhemmn. aina kun motivaatio ja konetehot on ollu kohdallaan kotioloissa. olis mulla paljonkin materiaalia, mutta en voi niit julkaista. mut jos olis tehmylly niin tekisin sellasen reelin et huh heijjakkaa..

I gave some individual information for petteri. Sorry about finnish...

Tinusch: Thanks! Yep. I have played Thief nad I liked it a lot but anything of Thief game didn't come to my mind when I modelled that pic. I just wanted to create something moody and well balanced. And yes, I agree with you about goatee. It looks a bit unrealistic because of those very exact forms. My main idea was create something which is a little extraordinary and his ears just serve my points. That's why his ears are some elvish type.

Citizen Cow: Charlie Sheen.. umm.. interesting. Smile

I work in both Max, and Maya.

The structural scene is very nice. I like it alot.
The character needs a little more texture work. That is, if you're going for a real look. Right now he looks like a standard scanline render of...er...a 3d character.

Change his soul patch to a darker color perhaps., or just shorten it.

Change the ears. Although some people have some jacked up ears in real life, the thin, Spokian ears bring attention to his 'fakeness'

Great model modeling though.

Looks nice. The blueness scene reminds me a lot dragon scene from 3Dmark2001. The mercenary looks very good. Good face impression. He's elf right?!
