I'm happy you guys liked my recent pics - I'm getting a better handle on color, if not form and light yet. Everybody's improving so much, gotta keep moving! Here's my latest quicky, another Feng Zhu drawing(this and the castle were on the same page, so I saved them both at some point). Go see his art! http://www.artbyfeng.com/
Oh, and I just use the regular brushes. I like to use multiply, overlay, color dodge, linear dodge layers - I often will take my last painting, mess it up with the clone tool, spin it around, and overlay it in some way onto my new image, to give me a starting point. But that's after I've blocked in the shading for the scene first. _________________ -Anthony

Its in a way useless and crazy to try to get the mood of Apocalypse Now in some speedpaintings. Every single screenshot its worth one.
After 10 minutes movie and 4 speedpaintings - well, a little bit too much ... at last ipainted perhaps every 10minutes(but by far more often paused to let me time to get the impressions). And one took me about 10-15minutes (only stopped time the first two times)
An incredible good-looking masterpiece.

Thx, but as i said, its only out of the movie "Apocalypse Now" - so its not as hard to get those values - but a good try to safe those values in your mind, i think. _________________ Lars Gtze
