Wow. Great piece I love the mood. Judging from the detail shot you must have spent a lot of time in the fine details. Nice.
Personally, I would have put Bilbo and the rock slightly more towards the center of the piece. Compositionally, this may heighten the viewers feeling of being in the painting with the brave hobbit.
(The full sized image took forever to load on my system. Not sure if it's my bandwidth problem or a routing prob... hmmmm.)
Anyway.. beautiful image. |

Whow, great lighting and awesome detailing. One thing though, that bright stuff in the back looks like vire but what is it? It isn't coming from smough's mouth. Nice scales on the dragon too.
