are u artist out there using those flat things ?
They used to be crap in the beginning... how's the quality now? |

They still have the same problems, but they're less expensive than they used to be.
Limited viewing angle, poor contrast ratio, limited resolution, pixel persistance . . . I'd only use one for art if I was seriously in need of extra desk space (and I'm not, since I use a drafting table). _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

sorry, i stand corrected. the more expensive tft screens have 24 bit colour. just make sure the tft screen you buy support it. usually cheaper screens have 18 bit colour.
still, the limited viewing angle of tft screens is worrying me, i find it hard to trust the colours i see on it. |

Dunno I'm still a bit sceptical about lcd's. I kind of like my big old CRT, easy on the eyes and cheap to boot
