Not bad. The body shape is a little strange, and the hands need some more time invested in them. The shading doesn't seem to be as functional as it is just there for the sake of being there. I guess that's more of an Illustrator limitation, though. He could definitely use a completed body and a background, which would make this piece look a lot better. In my opinion, as it stands, it's pretty good, but not spectacular. Just needs some more time.
