i've been checking out some really crazy good illustrators that use either Paint of Photoshop to get this oil affect in photoshop. Some that i've been looking at are:
www.nivbed.com, www.eatpoo.com, www.goodbrush.com
these guys are NUTS good, i was just wondering if anyone had a clear tutorial site or some other information that could help me with these type of painting styles. Thanks. ![Shocked](images/smiles/icon_eek.gif) |

Smudgy, buttery oils are something that Photoshop still can't imitate very well. PS is more suited to a watercolor/gouche look. If you want oils, you might want to look into Painter or Corel Photopaint (version 8 or later). _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |
