here is a piece that took me more time (of course because of the background). i am not absolutely happy with the balance of colours all around the robot, but i was afraid spending more time would kill the job already done... anyway, here :
this time, if you people want to have a try to fix problems in this piece, feel free to show me how! :) _________________ l'angle b |

The perspective seems fine to me. Well, maybe the ladders are a bit aslant if you compare to the space-grid over them. Other than that great draw and colors. Liked the fadin in the colors over the distance. _________________ ___/Osku |

bengal...dont fix the perspective...its fine. if there are perspective issues they are minimal and insignificant. getting back to what you asked about color balance, i think, if we are on the same page, that your contrast is in the right place. i think that she works well as being the warmest color, except that the orange board on the right competes a bit with her. i would tone it down a bit over there, and maybe make the pit on the right, where the ladder goes down into, a darker color maybe one of those nice dirty aquas you use so well. maybe even a light down there, but not enough to detract focus from her or the robot...low contrast. anyway i hope i answered your question. great job, and you have a fun website to go to! |

This is by far my favorite one from you... it's also the least Terada-esque, I find - the woman's character design is somehow really original. I enjoyed it a lot, I hope you make more of these slightly more time-consuming pictures |

gezstar>> ... as soon as i have time to consume, no problem!! ;)
tomasis>> glad to read i can be succesful sometime! thx!! :)
all>> i do think the perspective is correct. i didn't have problems with it ; it is about the general balance of colors, somehow i didn't manage to have control over every slightest detail ; which means i still need a lot of training on bigger pieces! :) i have another one coming, i'll try to have it for the middle of the next week.
thank you people!! :) i get a lot of motivation when getting your comments! _________________ l'angle b |
