Obviously no ref.
I did the first steps according to Randis Albion's tutorial.
Then I didn't know where to add shadows and highlights ... . _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org

You're more than welcome, hpx...that pic totally kicks arse!
(And it's very impressive that anyone can make a drawing that looks anatomically plausible based on THIS photo:
...I always use it in critiques to show why using photoreference won't always yield an anatomically plausible image. ) _________________ Dignity isn't important. It's everything.

Well, some time ago I had a dream/vision of God as a muscled 80-haired man with a t-shirt and jeans, creating the light.
It's time to take my ghosts away: "The creation of light":

stereophoenix: Those are cool!
Swarm: Sweet!
oDD: Nice!
starglider2: Heh, that "employee of the month" is very effective, especially in that size. The man with the sword too.
Mark: Thx. I kind of liked it (the story) and I do like (Miller's) loose, sketcy artwork in comics but I think the art was way too sloppy in places in that one. Didn't like Varley's color and filter job too much either. I like e.g. the "300" much more artwise.

sorry popey, I will describe it then. It is a girl pacing in a room and it is winter outside. I think she is an alien and the mother ship is a little late. Or maybe her boyfriend is late. Or maybe shes really hungry and her ramen isn't done. you didn't miss much |
