Pretty cool ... nice colors! The clothed areas are more defined than the skin areas... is there a reason? |

this is nice but could be better- brom influence are the muscles and the stillness mostly, but it's not too obvious. what bugs me the most here is the head. it's oddly shaped, flat and the planes could be much better (was this done in a rush?) and the absence of ears helps that feeling. few more areas look flat- shoulders and biceps.

Thanks for the feedback, that is helpful. It does look a little flat; I was trying to get a simplified graphic look, because this image is part of a larger one, and will show up really small. But for a stand alone piece these are good comments.
Mr T, it was done quickly, about 3-4 hours or so.
LC3 - updated a little bit to show more carefully rendered skin.
Thnaks again. _________________ Francis Tsai

I like this a lot - nice pallette, and the way her skin is reflecting the light is cool. Plus doing straight-on views of the face is tough, so I'm impressed you did this in such a short amount of time.
Hope you don't mind, but I've got a little tip for you. You can deform the logo on her headgear to follow its curved surface with the filters > distort > displacement (i think that's the one) - unless you wanted to keep it flat for design reasons. |
