hello...
I'm new here, soo.. I guess I wanted to post a pic I did a couple of days ago..
it was a photo refrence, also my first attempt at something like this..
I usually do anime type drawings.. (barely do any life drawing, outside of class ^^; )
it was kinda easy (thats why I picked it to be my first..) you know being Black and white, and half of her face is not there... so I didn't have to worry about making the eyes alike..
anyway if anyone has criticism or suggestions on it, it'd be greatly appreciated... ^^
(I think the arm is abit small.... oh and I didn't trace it... if you saw the original pic, theres a pretty big difference in the head shape and stuff...)
(i hope this thing works...)

Wow Tom that's fantastic! You've done a great job on the shading, and I love some of the little touches such as the strands of hair and lighting around the elbow and on the hand. However there are problems with proportion throughout (I think you know this already). The hand looks to be in an awkard pose, and the shoulder needs to pop out more. Anyways, its a great study and a big step for you!!!  |

The shading is good, but you have to work more on the propostions, just spend more time on it.
