well ive just started my second semester of college involving no art but I hate it and after this semester I think I wanna try actually doing something in the field of art . . .I realized its what I really like to do and my friends always say I should (but of course people that dont draw think everything looks professional)

its a really broad field but Im thinkin either 'character design' of any kind or illustration . .the only sure thing is definitely nothing 3D. .

the thing that ive been really worried about is

how do I even know what kinda school is right for me (maybe some of youcould tell me how you got started)

and how stable are these kinda jobs (only an idiot would do it to become a rich but can you at least support yourself on it)
