That's one heavy download - nah i think the connection is just slow. The picture doesn't show in the post - i had to use the URL a couple of times.

The face looks good.... waiting for the rest to appear... Confused
Hmm okay... it seems ok.. a can't see any major errors at this point.

The head looks excellent so far, but the fact that the rest of the picture isn't thought about is a little troublesome. Also the fact that his head is too small for the body that you have built. It's in proportion head wise from top to bottom, but from side to side it's a little too big. Normally peoples bodies are 3 heads wide. So put a head on either side of the body and draw a line down from that and that's where the farthest length of the shoulder should be. Regardless of musculature (unless you're the Hulk).

So depending on how big the head is (Too many shadows to see it correctly) it's either just slightly off, or it's half the arm off. Also, you might want to fix some of your reference points that aren't in proportion. The pecs (man boobies) are a little too high. They should be one head in height. The waist is a head below that, and that's also where the belly button is placed. You have the correct indications of where the waist should be, but those tow thig are put in the wrong space, pulling the figure towards the head more and making it more squat up top and seeming to pull upwards.

Good job though, and try to work the entire picture plain next time. It adds to the overall effect that your picture will have.

and tried to color it:

uhm, please dont laugh.. but i dont know where to start or how to paint it without ref. i'm trying to imagine the light source as it is on the face, up above and recreate the shadows from the face. with no luck. all i get is chaos and smudged colors.

what can i do?

his right side is a bit longer than the left - though I know we're all naturally bigger on one side.. this idifference in the picture is a bit much I think. The top of the hat seems a little flat/unreal at the moment as well. Try coloring the body then I'll come back for more.. The head looks great.. and your overall shape of the body is pretty good as well.

Your coloured version is here. You have made some advaqncements, but the shoulders aren't round enough. Also the shoulder on the left side of the picture looks better than the one on the right side of the picture.

As for lighting, looking on the face it looks like a strong lightsource coming from above the viewers head, if we were his size. So in front and above. In that position his pecs and shoulders should be well lit, and his biceps slightly less, but still some. HIs abs might also have some light reflection as well. To help you on your way to colouring it, I gave it a quick overpaint.

Keep going with it!

P.S. You may want to make his pecs a bit bigger. They're too high, and would look better halfway down that dark patch below them. Sorry I didn't paint that in. Also you may REALLY want to start considering the background as a dark scene behind him would lend well to the scene and make it so that the bright parts of the figure wouldn't need to be as bright to register correctly due to the glare from the white background.
