I've had such a great time checking out the crazy/wicked artwork on this site.

But now it seems if something isn't done by worthless_meat_sack, the only other way to receive a good number of replies is to post, or threaten to post, an actual photo of female references.

And not just any references - right now we've got girls in bikinis and girlsongirls going on... The comments always turn towards how hot the photos are. On one thread, someone used the reference photo for an example for a filter. This is getting a bit pathetic!

Note to sijun moderators - you guys should start charging these horney artists! This is the cheapest jerkofffodder in town!

i don't really care whatever they draw, as long as its good, ummm, done good i mean.

Plus, this is definitely not the worst because so far, i haven't seen any naked furries yet.

I wouldn't say jealousy is really a factor. It's just frustrating and a little amusing how people latch on to these threads where photos have been posted. It usually takes over from the artwork.

Maybe I shoulda kept quiet. But I saw a post from synj where he/she was saying similar things about this topic, so I thought I'd say something... He/she was saying that all these reference photos take away from simply enjoying the art.

I agree. Plus, I think the sexier the photo, the more it takes the attention off the art. It suddenly becomes all about the photo.

The forum has always been like that. Plus, if word gets out that you're an attractive female, you can expect your replies to increase exponentially and get feedback from several people on every single thing you say. That's the way of the internet, I suppose.
